Cara Robbins is a photographer and director based in Los Angeles. Trained at the acclaimed Brooks Institute of Photography, Cara has been making photos for as long as she can remember. Her commercial work excels at capturing raw emotion and feeling in the quieter moments of life, whether staged or unstaged. On set, Cara prides herself in her ability to create a comfortable and collaborative experience for her subjects and clients. Her portfolio, which spans commercial, lifestyle, and portrait photography and videography, has a warm, natural, and timeless quality to it. It includes commissions for clients ranging from Amazon and Walmart to Alaska Airlines and Phillips Sonicare. Her photos have also graced the covers and pages of Wired, Interview, and Inc. Magazine, among many others. At home, at work, and in her travels, Cara enjoys fostering connection through photography, and creating images that look and feel deeply personal, no matter what the subject.
